It works over a run of sessions, not in one
I would rather say this before you book than afterwards: one contouring session on its own changes nothing you will notice in the mirror. What this session does, it does by repetition, over weeks.
That is why it is the shortest on my list. Forty-five minutes of firm work, done regularly, is worth more than ninety minutes once a month.
If you want a single session to unwind after a long week, this is not it: that is the relaxing massage, 60 minutes for R$ 280.
How the session goes
I work mainly the belly, the legs and the glutes, with firm, rhythmic pressure. I use a professional cream from Bioage, made for firmness.
The result is gradual, so I say up front how many sessions it usually takes: ten, twice a week. Fewer than that and you probably will not notice a difference.
The rest is like any of my appointments: I arrive with the table, the sheets and the towels, set up in seven to ten minutes and need about three square metres of free floor. The sheets and towels are mine: sterilised, and each one used only once before being sterilised again.
The pressure is firm, and you tell me during the session if it is too much. Putting up with it in silence is not the idea.
What it does not do
Massage therapy does not treat illness, does not replace a medical appointment, and is not a cosmetic procedure with a promised result. I work the muscle and the circulation. I do not sell centimetres.
Where massage is not advisable for a medical condition, I only work with a signed medical clearance. After surgery I start from seven days, also with signed medical authorisation.
If the subject is swelling or the weeks after surgery, the right session is lymphatic drainage, and it costs less.

Drainage and contouring puts the slow movement of drainage together with the firm work of contouring, in 60 minutes for R$ 350. Contouring on its own is 45 minutes for R$ 280.
Does it hurt?
The pressure is firm and can be uncomfortable in the first minutes. I ask during the session and adjust from your answer.
